CAPS Program: Career Coaching Network (CCN)

Student at Computer
Mitchell Scholars have continually expressed a need for guidance as they explore career options. After a number of experiments and discussions with Mitchell Scholars, we have developed a plan that we hope will help address this need: the Career Coaching Network (CCN).

The Career Coaching Network is a networking tool offered to Mitchell Scholars as a manageable way to make contacts and learn more about a potential career field or educational opportunity.

The Mitchell Institute regularly solicits additional Career Coaches from the business community. Coaches provide simple profiles of their education and career history, as well as contact information (preferably an e-mail address). That information will be made available to Mitchell Scholars who may wish to contact the Coaches for advice.

There is no expectation on the part of any career coach to find jobs for the students. The network is designed to provide support and information to Scholars as they try to make education and career choices. The profiles are hosted on a secure page on our web site that can only be viewed through a link.

Any Mitchell Scholars who wish to gain access to the Career Coaching Network — or any members of the business community who wish to volunteer their services to should contact the Mitchell Institute by CLICKING HERE.
