The Mitchell Institute Welcomes Chloe Teboe as Brand and Communications Director

On August 1, 2026, the Mitchell Institute officially welcomed Chloe Teboe as its new Brand and Communications Director. This comes as Lauren Ingram, who previously held the position, concluded her time at the organization following an unanticipated personal and family transition.

“It has been a privilege to help advance the mission of the Mitchell Institute, and I am excited to see Chloe step into this role,” Ingram said. “Chloe is joining a team deeply committed to Maine students, Scholars, and Alumni. I wish her and the organization all the best in this next chapter.”

Throughout the summer, Ingram worked closely with Teboe to ensure a smooth handoff of responsibilities and help position her for success in the role.

“This transition is bittersweet for us,” Jared Cash, President and CEO of the Mitchell Institute, said. “We are grateful to Lauren for her outstanding work enhancing and refining our brand. We are also excited to welcome Chloe with her unique set of skills to the team.”

As Brand and Communications Director, Teboe will lead the Mitchell Institute’s communications and storytelling efforts through various channels to amplify Scholars’ voices and promote the organization’s life-changing work.

“I feel deeply privileged to be joining the Mitchell Institute team, as they continue to help more young Mainers aspire to, pursue, and achieve a college education,” Teboe said. “I am looking forward to the many opportunities ahead to tell the stories of bright, resilient Scholars and how this organization changes lives.”

Teboe comes to the Mitchell Institute following a career in broadcast journalism as a reporter and anchor at NEWS CENTER Maine, where she developed a passion for covering public education. Most recently, she served as the Director of Communications at the Maine Department of Education.

Teboe holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Emerson College, where she graduated magna cum laude from the Honors program. She grew up in Brunswick and is proud to call Maine home.
